This fully furnished historic cabin is located in the beautiful piedmont foothills of Delaplane. The rustic cabin is a 2-story structure surrounded by rolling pastures of Hidden Creek Farm. The main level opens to a cozy living room with wood burning fireplace and kitchen, which includes a breakfast bar, stove, oven and fridge. The upper level is tucked into the eaves and offers a queen bedroom and remodeled bathroom with standing shower. All utilities are included in rental price which also includes internet but this cabin does not have a TV, and cable is not available on the property. The shared laundry is available on-site in the tack room in the neighboring barn. This cabin used to be an old smokehouse and has low ceilings, so there is a height recommendation of shorter than 5’11”. Professionally maintained grounds with the opportunity to utilize the outdoor pool and hot tub (during appropriate seasons), firepit, BBQ grill, smoker, outdoor seating, and hiking trails.
MOVE IN READY. The cabin doubles as an AirBnB location during summer and fall seasons, we are offering a 4-month lease with the option for month to month afterwards. One month security deposit and first month’s rent are required prior to move in. Move in dates are flexible.
Pets are allowed on a case-by-case basis as it is a farm, there are working livestock guardian dogs on property 24/7. An introduction to the animals, and owner approval of animal, is required as this property does not have a separate fenced in yard.
A unique opportunity for a reduced rent is available in exchange for farm or landscape work. Prior knowledge of gardening or livestock is not needed but is preferred. If interested, further discussion of available tasks will be scheduled with the owner.
