Studio cabin on small farm in San Marcos
Hello!
Available January first is a charming studio apartment on our small sustainable homestead. The studio is a private residence, however it is a "mother in law" style efficiency located close to the main house and is connected to a screened in porch where farm activities occur. We think it best fits a person who likes to be social but enjoys their own space. This home can only accommodate one resident due to septic limitations, and thus is not appropriate for having large gatherings or frequent overnight guests. As much as we love animals, this unit is not able to accommodate pets at this time.
About the studio:
-450 square foot efficiency style 1 room apartment
-Located 8 miles south of downtown San Marcos/ River/Campus
-kitchenette with full size fridge and stove
-large walk in closet
-full size bathroom with tub/shower
-ceiling fan and new window unit ac
-tile and laminate flooring, no carpet
-pretty courtyard entrance under big oak trees
-private space, but with close neighbors in the adjacent main house and a near-by cabin
-Washer and Dryer on site
-No Cigarettes/e-cigerettes
-No Pets; unfortunately we are at capacity
-Available January 1 2023
-Rent: $750/month (includes water/wastewater, trash/recycle, internet) Electric is paid separately direct to the provider and runs an average of $80/month dependent on usage
-Deposit: one month's rent
-minimum one year lease
-can come empty, or fully/partially furnished
-An application is required before we can make an appointment to view the space (no fee for application, just very basic questions)
