Aztec, NM is 40 min south of Durango. The town of Aztec has many local events, a Durango Joe's, Laundrotopia, fitness center, Dollar General, 550 Brewery, Pizza, Thai, Chinese, DQ, many local hometown or fast food restaurants and a Safeway, mostly walking distance .75-1.25 miles from home. Walmart 17 minutes, Mall and shopping 18 minutes away. Farmington hospital maybe 20-25 minutes.
