The Intern's nest offers upscale efficiency style and is a new build with oak cabinets, a balcony, and a bright positive interior with natural wood work. You will have somewhat ambient lighting choices and ceiling fans. In the fall you will hear coyotes and in the spring cranes and swans trumpeting. Yet close enough for pizza delivery.
Just a two minute walk up the road is our 140 acres of wild life area you will have access to play on, snow shoe, x-country ski, relax, or take in a sunset paddle on our 40 acre beaver bond. We provide the boats. There is a fire pit there just encase you want to meet with your friends and howl at the moon. The roads themselves have minimal traffic, are paved, and are great for jogging or walking.
We offer both short term and long term leases. Rent is $875/month for a 12 month lease or $900/month for leases less than 12 months but with a minimum commitment of a 3 months.
Tenants pay their own metered electric and heat (propane average less than $400.00/yr.) Your apartment is already wired for high speed internet and TV should you chose to purchase subscription from Spectrum Cable.
Insulation galore keeps you toasty, your heating bills low and your spirit high. Building is well insulated even between apartment walls/floors/ and ceilings so you will not be paying to heat someone else's apartment.
HIGH GATE IS PEACEFUL AND QUIET. With daily noise restrictions from 10p.m.-10a.m. Your neighboring tenats respectful nice people who are friendly but not too friendly to meddle in your affairs.
Sorry as much as the owner loves animals no pets are allowed and absolutely no smoking anywhere on the premises with no exceptions to either of these. In practicality this is a one person apartment.
The address of 57501 6th Street may be a little misleading. Not sure what they were thinking back in the 1890s when they plotted the road names? High Gate is at least 5 minutes out of central Hancock town up on scenic and beautiful Quincy hill.
