Affordable housing for 55+ or handicap person needing fulltime RN
This is two (completely separate) individual apartments—one studio apartment ground level first floor $650, the other studio apartment upstairs $650—second floor with stair lift ride capability. When you really want to just have a family type of caregiver that helps you like only a private duty RN can, look further right here first please? Then go look at the nursing home? This place really is the answer how to avoid being put in a nursing home or assisted living you were being told is the only place— good news —those are NOT the ‘only places to go’ —keep reading please this 5 minute “word tour”? Give us a call if you need to know more? See for yourself? Seeing is believing! You may have to read twice everything written here just to realize what is really being said and how it works maybe, but once you get the idea, it is not a big hurdle to start the process! Just don’t wait a long time to begin the “next steps”? Questions may be answered easier if you read this entirely first—is why we wrote this—less prone for incorrect misunderstandings or a false impression before you know what we have to offer…Many people can’t afford an RN exclusively taking care of them —we can make it affordable by perfectly tailor fitting 4 people here in one house in 4 separate (but in one 3000 square foot house) studio apartments (250 square feet each studio, or more) where the RN will live too in the non-studio part of the rest of the house. Each studio apartment disabled person —one at a time—getting the RN care no one can afford unless could have the RN shared by the hour between 4 people (4 people =15 minutes every hour of whatever help you would need of care) It works out to be 6 hours of nursing care for each of the 4 studio apartments every day 7 days a week (not just 5 days and 2 days off or even a holiday we do not stop for either), and 2 hours of care each day to do cooking, laundry, housekeeping, and for the time to chart written daily records for each disabled/ handicapped person and for you and your family (or a doctor) as a courtesy of how all is going.
You just found the right place (we think) you will agree too we hope —if you think we deserve a comparison —you be the judge first though, when you and whoever gets you here for your tour visit around here— on just a look over—inside and out (over an hour tour) and realize maybe from the first minute someone has the place you were looking for years for! To have a place visitors enjoy being here with you too in the fun outdoors we have on premises for getting together for a good time here! Will have two more studio apartments ready soon in September 2023. Please apply as soon as possible to prevent being lower on wait list. You can meet us and see studio apartment, see the lake (pictures shown here on slideshow) —talk with the RN always on site to discuss your options. We accept non-HUD “month-to-month” , or HUD . Either way (HUD or not HUD) rent is $650/month and upfront $650 deposit. Your deposit upfront will hold your place here until we get your HUD rent payment approved here. Or pay deposit and pay rent monthly yourself to get moved in first—maybe for just six months time (out of pocket) but live in your studio apartment until HUD has you in the system (if you were not in HUD system before you found us). Read more? (4 minutes longer is all, will be worth it) Have a little faith, you really do not have anything to lose if you read all these details before you look elsewhere and could skip the nursing home dilemma.
We also want to help you get here and get your needs here right from the start—everything here free even from the start —free of worry how to pay too! You do not pay for anything actually if you qualify—this is actually easy to qualify for, you can do it or let your children or loved one that is also looking out for you (like we are) help you qualified/get paperwork started: Your doctor will need to fill out the medical part and sign it for your application form online and send it to the Public Housing Authority for your county (is on the internet —search for example : Columbia County Florida Public Housing Authority) their phone directory to call them with questions… Doctor you see for regular appointments can also qualify you as Disabled (with HUD —is not a Social Security decision or anything to do with being SSI or plain Social Security either) Your regular doctor can also determine the Homebound status part on the application forms we can get to your doctor and have turned in after a doctor has the form ready to give back to start setting you up for the RN Caregiver Assistance Program (Homebound: meaning you can only get places with help of others and is difficult even with help to go from home). We are supposed to be able to have a notification you have started the process to live here and to be sure we can help and have an apartment for you (once you get to know us better/meet us and talk awhile and see for yourself all we are about). If you need us to expedite any faster getting the HUD paperwork moving let us know and we can call to talk to the Public Housing Authority to check if we can help too (we allow just one person only to stay 30 days/nights monthly in each private studio apartment, in order not break any rules of HUD). . For HUD eligibility your income has to be limited by all your medical expenses: Basic HUD requirements : an income of below $2025/ month before medical expenses are taken out, to be able to qualify for HUD Rent Assistance (for Section 8)—if you want to “save” money and have no cost to live here. But we will also accept non-HUD payment of rent too (debit card in our POS Square ) “month to month” $650. Equal Opportunity Housing
Your deposit upfront will hold your place here until we get your HUD rent payment paperwork approved. Or like just said, pay your deposit yourself here $650 and first months rent to move in your studio apartment (pay rent monthly yourself maybe for six months time “out of pocket”) until HUD has you in the system —and no more worry about how to pay (HUD will do the paying of your rent to us by Direct Deposit) —if you were not in HUD’s system before you found us. Anyway, next read please about free RN care here —read on for 3 more minutes? Other people eligible for care here : Lou Gehrig’s Disease/ALS (in the past we have had a person with ALS on home care 24/7), Rett Syndrome person (a form of severe autism now called MEPC2, cared for by our RN for 1 year ) or have been a spinal cord injury or brain trauma person (cared for by our RN for 1 year) or stroke person causing inability to stand anymore (have a person here now 24/7), amputee person and bedfast (non-terminal) ventilator connected person here now also (never been on hospice; here for 2 years now ) We can not care for anyone as hospice unless are terminal and give us their consent to do that though (no one here yet has been a hospice case). Do you really want to just have a family type of caregiver that helps you like only a private duty RN can? We think
you have found the right place—worth your time to check out?
If your Disability is determined as Homebound, all your Care Expenses will actually be provided by a Caregiver Program we can discuss with you to help you have care given (free) by the RN here— or an “outside” caregiver (hired by you) or an “outside” hired agency caregiver —but not both an outside caregiver plus the RN here (it just gets too confusing who was supposed to do what and the RN wants to chart what was done by seeing to it as done and done properly so to do that our RN would rather be doing it)—in any case are normally free of charge to you, cost free to you —if you qualify for Homebound Assistance. We currently do have, living here now, one other Disabled resident who qualified as Homebound who is receiving this Caregiver Program that pays us direct deposit and no cost to them! You may qualify for it or for any other Caregiver Program also too. “Meal Preparation Incuded” means by a contribution you have been entitled to get or subsidized (government known as SNAP) will be able to get started in advance before eating meals prepared by the RN here for you—your shopping list of food will be grocery shopped and delivered here (shopping and delivery to you here is without charge to you since is included in your $650/month rent) for you free—but you are able to get your food using your EBT food assistance card (SNAP) or online by you on a local food retailer website (Wal-mart, Publix, Winn Dixie) and your food will be kept here just for you separately from other studio apartments’ kitchenettes, for just your studio apartment storage shelves and refrigerator with labels and dates on any opened food. And not kept in the common food preparation kitchen. If you and your family have your own means to pay—we also accept debit card payments for care, rent, or food/food preparation (if you did not qualify for any governmental assistance) but your (FPL electric/city gas/water and internet and 200 tv channels Xfinity/On Demand/ Disney Plus/Prime Video/ Paramount Plus/NetFlix/home DVD player and ADT fire protection ) utilities are included in the $650/ month to month rent —plus daily housekeeper service included for each studio apartment in the $650/month rent.
We mandatorily screen potential applicants using a Florida Star ID or Florida drivers license for violent offenses or sexual offender complaints in case applicant had not disclosed —it is better to make these known prior to application if inconsistent with what we find upon screening no matter the length of time they occurred.
