Hillcrest Condos - Convenient, comfortable near West HS, Franz Bakery
This updated, ground floor apartment is located within a secure building (all exterior doors require keys or a combination to the cypher lock on the front door) and its location provides easy access to downtown, the airport, Franz Bakery, Bosco's, Organic Oasis, Urgent Care in the former REI building, and Middle Way Cafe.
It's a one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment and is available for $1,095.00 per month with a one-year lease agreement and an immediate start date. There is plenty of closet space; there are four. Utilities are included, except electricity. There is an assigned parking space with an electrical outlet for winter engine block heating and extra on-street parking in the front of the building. The maximum occupancy is two people per bedroom.
This is a quiet building and neighborhood although there can be a lot of entertainment and "action" a few blocks away. You'll get plenty of rest and relaxation at the end of a busy day. The elevated deck with picnic tables and beach chairs in the back provides a secure space for private outdoor gatherings and an area to lock up your bicycle. There are three prolific rhubarb plants in the front of the building; you can help yourself!
It is possible that we would furnish and equip this one-bedroom apartment to meet your needs. The apartment and carpet are professionally cleaned between each tenant. It is the tenant's responsibility to arrange for this standard at the end of the lease period.
The apartment has been renovated and updated recently with a large new refrigerator. The locked laundry facility is inside the building on the first floor a few steps from the front door. If repairs are needed, the handyman lives in the building and provides excellent, prompt, top-quality work. Monthly condo association dues (paid by the owner) cover water, garbage collection, yard work, snow removal, and common area cleaning. The tenant is responsible for Chugach electric service.
The application fee is $50.00; housing vouchers, rent relief certificates, or unemployment compensation are not considered as an income source for the purposes of qualification. Applicants are required to complete a rental application and authorize a self-paid credit and background check. A one-year rental agreement is required. The security deposit is $1,000.00. The condo association does not allow dogs to reside in the building. Smoking and vaping are not permitted within the building or on the condo complex property.
There is a direct People Mover bus line going downtown and/or to the airport. The bus stops are mere steps from the condo building. It couldn't be easier to get around by mass transit if you prefer not to drive!
